A message from the Chartered Institute of Housing

2020 has brought us unprecedented challenges, but housing professionals have shown themselves as resilient and forward thinking in the way they have responded. We’ve adapted rapidly, working hard to keep communities safe and maintain vital services. We’ve learnt a lot along the way and we continue to learn and adapt everyday. This year’s Housing 2020: the virtual festival is an opportunity to review what we have achieved and to think and plan for the future bringing you insightful sessions and incredible thought-leadership to further grow professionalism across our sector.

Together, we have some exciting questions to answer and debate:

  • How do we continue to embrace and respond to what remains a novel and challenging environment?
  • What new innovations can we implement, and new ideas can we build upon to positively shape the future of housing across the world?
  • How do we work to ensure homes are at the heart of our recovery from the pandemic?
  • What more can we do to respond to the climate emergency, embed change and create sustainable homes and communities?

Come and join the debate at Housing 2020: the virtual festival!

“Attending Housing has reminded me how valuable an opportunity the event represents, and I have recommended it to colleagues who were not able to attend this year to attend the next.”
